AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Consultant – Climate Risk & Adaptation to join its Advisory Services team in Dubai. This role involves working on climate risk assessments, adaptation strategies, and sustainability advisory across sectors such as water, transport, energy, and infrastructure.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver climate-related solutions, support clients in meeting regulatory requirements, and contribute to impactful global projects focused on climate resilience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct climate risk assessments across infrastructure and operations
- Develop adaptation strategies and resilience plans
- Support climate-related reporting (TCFD, Paris Alignment, etc.)
- Work on projects across water, transport, energy, and urban sectors
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and economists
- Assist in preparing project proposals and bids
- Contribute to development of digital and analytical tools
Requirements
- Degree in environmental science, climate science, engineering, or related field
- Master’s or PhD is a plus
- Experience in climate change consulting or advisory roles
- Knowledge of climate modelling and risk assessment
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- GIS, Python, or R knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
