Student Affairs Coordinator – Onboarding & Success

RIT Dubai is hiring a Student Affairs Coordinator to support first-year students in their transition to university life. This role focuses on onboarding, student success initiatives, and improving student engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

The coordinator will act as a central support hub, helping students navigate academic requirements, campus services, and personal challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and student success initiatives
  • Support students with visa, accommodation, and insurance processes
  • Assist students in adapting to university life and policies
  • Provide guidance on academic, social, and personal challenges
  • Work with student government and campus teams
  • Improve student engagement and retention strategies
  • Manage student issues and ensure resolution
  • Support reporting, budgeting, and administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, or related field
  • Experience in student affairs, teaching, or customer service
  • Experience working with students or young adults
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of CRM/SIS systems (Peoplesoft, Slate is a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
