Job Summary
The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining high system availability, managing servers and networks, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and experience in IT infrastructure and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Implement and manage IT security (firewalls, antivirus, access control)
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Maintain documentation and asset inventory
- Manage hardware/software procurement and vendors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience in IT Administrator role
- Experience with Windows/Linux servers and virtualization
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
- Understanding of IT security best practices
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA
- MCSA
- CompTIA Network+
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS
