Kling Consult is hiring an experienced Risk Manager to lead and manage project risk frameworks for a large-scale 5-star hotel project in Dubai. This role involves overseeing risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring across engineering, construction, financial, and regulatory domains.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring project success by proactively managing risks and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, PMI-RMP)
- Identify, assess, and manage risks across all project phases
- Maintain and update comprehensive risk registers
- Conduct risk analysis for cost and schedule impacts
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Prepare risk reports and present to stakeholders
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and trends
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and HSE standards
- Analyze contractual and financial risks (FIDIC contracts)
- Engage with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Master’s degree in Project/Risk Management (preferred)
- 10+ years experience in construction risk management
- Experience in large-scale hospitality or mixed-use projects
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations
- Experience working on projects exceeding AED 2 billion
- Proficiency in risk management tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, Oracle RM, ARM)
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts
