RIT Dubai is hiring a Student Affairs Coordinator to support first-year students in their transition to university life. This role focuses on onboarding, student success initiatives, and improving student engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
The coordinator will act as a central support hub, helping students navigate academic requirements, campus services, and personal challenges.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and student success initiatives
- Support students with visa, accommodation, and insurance processes
- Assist students in adapting to university life and policies
- Provide guidance on academic, social, and personal challenges
- Work with student government and campus teams
- Improve student engagement and retention strategies
- Manage student issues and ensure resolution
- Support reporting, budgeting, and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, or related field
- Experience in student affairs, teaching, or customer service
- Experience working with students or young adults
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of CRM/SIS systems (Peoplesoft, Slate is a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
