Key Responsibilities
- Perform furniture painting and refinishing work
- Prepare furniture surfaces through sanding and priming
- Apply paint, lacquer, acrylic, and specialty coatings
- Use paint sprayers, rollers, and brushes professionally
- Ensure smooth and streak-free paint finishes
- Inspect furniture for repair and restoration needs
- Maintain painting tools and equipment properly
- Follow workplace safety and chemical handling procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture painting and refinishing
- Knowledge of different paint and coating types
- Understanding of sanding, staining, sealing, and distressing techniques
