Looking for a Quantity Surveyor job in Sharjah? Fala Road Contracting LLC is hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor for roads, utilities, and infrastructure construction projects.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in quantity surveying, site measurements, BOQ preparation, subcontractor claims, and infrastructure project coordination.
The selected candidate will manage quantity measurements, support project claims and payment applications, coordinate with project teams, and ensure accurate quantity verification for infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site measurements for road and infrastructure works
- Prepare quantity take-offs from approved drawings
- Verify excavation, asphalt, drainage, kerbstone, and utility works
- Prepare monthly progress claims and payment applications
- Check subcontractor measurements and payment records
- Support variation claims and project documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors
- Maintain quantity records, reports, and supporting documents
- Attend joint site measurements and progress reviews
- Support final account and project close-out documentation
Requirements
- Experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of roads and civil construction works
- Experience preparing BOQs and progress claims
- Ability to verify subcontractor quantities and invoices
- Knowledge of variation claims and project documentation
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good understanding of drawings and site execution
- Attention to detail and professional reporting abilities
